As doctored papers takes a view on current developments, there is some urgency to send out our papers as soon as possible. We therefore cannot maintain a formal vetting procedure, where external experts are consulted in a structured manner. Nevertheless, we do send out first drafts to a select group of highly regarded professionals for their comments. Since I retain final editorial rights, this means that while the support/endorsement of our Advisory Board is highly appreciated, the views expressed in doctored papers do not necessarily reflect the views of these professionals.
The experience that our Advisory Board brings to the table, is evidenced not just by their illustrious careers, but also their abiding interest in topical issues. To ensure there is no conflict of interest, members of the Advisory Board will not receive any remuneration from doctored papers.
